Ruptured Aortic Aneurysm

Ruptured AAA. This contrast-enhanced CT shows a large abdominal aortic aneurysm, filled with IV contrast on these images. You can see a breach in the wall of the aneurysm (yellow arrow), with contrast leaking out of the lumen. In addition there is extensive abnormal high attenuation in both sides of the retroperitoneum (red arrows on both images), which represents haemorrhage.
