Acute subarachnoid haemorrhage (2)

Acute subarachnoid haemorrhage (2)

Acute subarachnoid haemorrhage. This is a particularly large acute SAH – in addition to the classic 5-pointed star, there is extensive high attenuation haemorrhage in the sulci of the left frontal lobe, and in the ventricles, which are dilated (the fourth ventricle is indicated by the orange arrow, the dilated temporal horns are indicated by the yellow arrows). The patient died shortly after the CT was performed.
