Metastatic breast cancer

Metastatic breast cancer

Metastatic breast cancer. This patient presented with a left breast lump. (a) Mammogram shows an irregular mass (arrows) in the left breast, suspicious for a carcinoma. Biopsy was performed under ultrasound guidance and confirmed this. (b) Staging CT shows the breast mass (arrow), as well as (c) an enlarged left axillary lymph node (arrow). Unfortunately, there are multiple rounded nodules in both lungs, (d), which are metastases.
