Acetabular fracture

Acetabular fracture

Acetabular fracture. When undisplaced, as in this case, acetabular fractures can be very difficult to identify on radiographs. This patient’s radiograph was normal, but the ED clinician was very suspicious that there was a fracture present and requested this CT, which confirmed an undisplaced transverse ‘Y’-shaped right acetabular fracture (arrows).
